SUMMARY

A new SEN school set to open in September 2025 are seeking 3 SEN Teachers to join them permanently full time. This is a term time position with an option to start before ASAP for the right applicant/s.

THE SCHOOL

The SEN school for primary pupils aged 5-11 with a diagnosis of Autism is led by an innovative Headteacher who is at the very beginning of an exciting journey. They are a brand-new, independent specialist school and growing fast — with a vision to become a multi-site school serving over 100 pupils in the very near future.

SCHOOL ETHOS

The school is built on the belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive — regardless of their starting point. That’s why they’re creating an environment where innovation, expertise, and compassion come together to offer truly individualised learning experiences.

The school hosts a purpose-built learning environment and is nestled in a spacious, green setting just 10 minutes from West Drayton's Elizabeth Line station and are equipped with specialist sensory and therapeutic spaces designed for children to flourish — both indoors and out.

THE HEADTEACHER IS LOOKING FOR

Committed and creative teachers with a strong foundation in SEN to be part of their founding team. You’ll be joining them at a pivotal stage, helping to shape the culture, curriculum, and learning environment of a school that puts pupils first.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond classroom teaching — to influence how things are done, work in a close-knit team, and grow professionally as the school expands.

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU WILL NEED

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

* Experience teaching children with Autism, ideally in a specialist setting.

* Familiarity with the EQUALS curriculum is highly desirable.

* Experience with non-linear assessment frameworks (e.g. SCERTS, Routes for Learning) would be a strong advantage.

* Above all, a deep passion for supporting neurodivergent learners and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred education.

WHY JOIN?

* Be part of a founding team shaping a school from the ground up.

* Join a values-driven, ambitious school with a strong commitment to research-led, compassionate practice.

* Access to ongoing training and development, with real opportunities for internal progression as we grow.

* Work in a beautiful, well-resourced setting, with sensory and therapeutic spaces designed to meet complex needs.

* Enjoy a supportive and collaborative working environment, where staff wellbeing is prioritised.

If you're passionate, dedicated, and ready to take on an exciting new challenge, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in your career!
