RSW are recruiting skilled electrical technicians. This will be based in Newport on 6 month rolling contract with potential to extend.

Pay Rate £21-£25 per hour

* You’ll be assembling and fitting brand-new electrical components to purpose.

* Key Role and Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll
Bring designs to reality by accurately assembling electrical components with precision and skill.
Ensure safety by installing safety-critical parts and rigorously testing quality to meet the highest industry standards.
Problem-solve by identifying and reporting any faults during production, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
Be hands-on in maintaining your equipment and keeping workspaces clean and well-organized.
Drive excellence by following all safety and quality procedures, and completing all relevant records—both manually and digitally.
You’ve got the hands-on know-how and technical understanding to thrive in an electrical assembly role

Essential Skills
Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and verbal directions.
Competent in using a variety of hand tools and equipment.
Commitment to safe working practices at all times.
NVQ Level 3 or relevant professional experience.

Shift Patterns / Hours:
Days: Monday to Thursday– 7AM-4PM, Friday – 7AM-1PM
Shifts: Earlies: Monday to Friday – 6AM-2PM. Lates: Monday to Thursday 2PM-11PM, Friday (Lates) 2PM-6PM
Possibility of night shifts 10pm - 6am
Contract Length: 6 months +
