Job Title: Senior Social Worker
Location: Newton Le Willows
Salary:40,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are working on behalf of a leading provider of specialist care for children and families. This organisation is committed to providing high-quality, innovative services that support families in need in the community. As part of their evolving service, they are to open a family centre that offers a safe and nurturing environment for children and families, providing assessment, support, and guidance.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join and lead their dynamic team at the new family centre in Widnes. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children and families facing a range of challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and developing tailored support plans.
Deliver direct therapeutic interventions, including family therapy, individual therapy, and group work.
Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals.
Participate in case reviews and multi-agency meetings.
Contribute to the development and improvement of services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (e.g., Social Work England).
Significant post-qualifying experience working with children and families.
Strong assessment, intervention, and therapeutic skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
