As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted support to students with SEN, contributing to their academic and social development.

Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant 
Location:  Witham
Salary Scale: £90 - £130
Contract Type: Full-time 

Key Responsibilities: 

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). 
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs. 
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will adapt learning materials to suit the individual needs and abilities of students. 
Assist with the implementation of behaviour management plans. 
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will foster positive relationships with students, promoting a sense of inclusion and belonging. 
Collaborate with the wider school team to create an inclusive learning environment. 
Requirements: 

Previous experience as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous. 
Understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support individual needs or willingness to learn. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with SEN. 
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. 
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
