GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join a well-regarded and supportive primary school in Loughton on a part-time, long-term basis starting in September.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity with a reduced timetable, offering an excellent work-life balance while maintaining involvement in classroom teaching and pupil development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership

Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the wider school community (as agreed based on part-time hours)

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment expectations

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A professional, flexible, and proactive attitude

An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
