Scout Recruiting is currently working with their client to recruit for a Finance Business Partner. With the support of the Corporate Finance Business Partner Analyst, the Finance Business Partner provides financial support across multiple key parts of the Business. The ideal candidate will need to have strong transferrable skills, so that this role can support different parts of the business, in line with the needs of the business and/or to balance work appropriately amongst the team.

This is a permanent role – Monday to Friday 35 hours per week. The salary is between £45,000 - £54,500 DOE plus a host of excellent non salaried benefits outlined in the full job spec. This is a hybrid role with typically 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Production of accurate monthly P&Ls for areas supported,

* Monthly reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and timely follow up of reconciling items.

* To work with Regional Finance Managers to ensure consistent, adequate processes and controls are in place.

* Responsible for the co-ordination and consolidation of the company monthly financial results across the business.

* Maintenance of Group Reporting from Sage, to support month end process/reporting,

* Co-ordination and production of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts with key stakeholders for areas supported, to ensure accurate and balanced forecasts are submitted in line with Forecast/Budget timetable.

* Collaboration with wider Finance Team to prepare schedules, reports and draft accounts information.

* Finance representation on key projects and new proposals, ensuring strong financial management.

* Updating the wider Finance Team on latest regulatory requirements and the ensuing impact on Group.

* Assess finance training needs both within finance and among the wider business,

* Review and seek to improve finance systems, procedures and reporting to make management information production more efficient and accurate. Support any system developments, testing, and roll out.

* Effectively manage and develop Direct Report(s).

Key Skills:

* Educated to Degree level.

* Qualified Accountant

* Experience in the production of management and financial accounts

* Experience of managing a small team

* Strong problem solving skills

* Highly IT literate. Knowledge of Accountancy Software (preferably SAGE) High level of Excel required as well.

* Highly organised

* Strong communicator

* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
