Empowering Learning is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established private day nursery in Spennymoor, who are seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and nurturing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced early years professional to secure a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of all children.
Support children's learning and development through engaging play-based and sensory activities.
Act as a key person for a small group of children, building strong relationships with their families.
Monitor and track children's progress to ensure they meet their developmental milestones.
Plan creative and stimulating activities to keep children engaged throughout the day.
Help prepare children for the transition to school life, supporting their personal and academic development.Key Requirements:

Experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting.
Must have Level 3 Early Years Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Understanding of child development and relevant Early Years legislation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
