Sales Executive - Office-based - Poulton Le Fylde

£25,000, rising to £27,000 after a successful completion of probationary period

Commissions 10% residual payment of contractual value of what has been signed

Fixed fee payment dependent on product

OTE £50k per annum 

Job Sector: Commercial Energy Renewals and Retentions.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (35.25 hours, Monday to Thursday 08:45 to 16:45, Friday 08:45 to16:00)

Holidays: 24 holidays (excluding bank holidays).

We're looking for a highly motivated and driven experienced Sales Executive to join our growing business in the commercial energy sector. You'll be working closely within an intimate and collaborative sales team, helping to reconnect with existing customers and offer competitive energy solutions, along with lead generation and closing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities from out-of-contract accounts via our existing customer database of resolved accounts.

Contact customers to complete a Letter of Authority, enabling our sales team to discuss and offer competitive contracts with their current energy suppliers.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions.

Closing contracts (change of tenancies, deemed and renewals) with customers and up-selling other products for client partnerships.

Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships.

Stay informed on industry trends, supplier pricing, and regulatory changes to provide accurate advice to customers.

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of the commercial electricity and gas industry is preferable.

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a tight-knit small team environment.

Goal-oriented with a background in telephone-based sales. Resilient, positive, and results-driven with a hunger to learn and grow.

Comfortable using CRM systems and Excel to manage and report on customer data.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
