Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Permanent
Salary: MPR + Fringe Allowance + TLR2 (dependent on experience and responsibility)

About the Role:

A well-regarded secondary school in the Cranleigh area is seeking a passionate Music specialist to take on either a Lead Teacher or standard Teacher of Music role, depending on experience. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality music lessons, help nurture student creativity and performance skills, and contribute to a dynamic extra-curricular programme. The school welcomes applicants from all musical specialisms and is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

A qualified teacher (QTS) with a Music specialism
A creative educator who can inspire a love of music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Someone committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student development
A team player who contributes to wider school life and is confident in leading or supporting extra-curricular activities
