Berry Recruitment are looking for 2x HGV Class 2 Drivers for our well established client based in Haywards Heath

Pay rate: £15.85 - £16.50 per hour

Hours: To be confirmed

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Location: Mid Sussex

As a HGV Driver within refuse collection, you will be required to:

- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job

- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal

- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed

- Complete relevant paperwork in real time

- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vechiles, before and after use

- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vechiles

- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users

You will also be required to hold:

- A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with no more than 6 points

- A driver CPC

- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivated

- Willingness to undertake tasks
