HR Advisor

Industry: Local Authority/ Education

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Hours: 37 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: approx. 12 weeks ( whilst recruiting permanently)

Duties:

Providing advice and guidance to Headteachers, School Business Managers and Senior Leaders on all HR related issues,
Professionally maintain and support casework including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence issues,
Create and deliver policy related training,
Ensure HR relate policies, procedures, guidance notes and intranet pages are maintained and easily accessible to managers, enabling application and good practice.

Experience:

Must have a demonstrable level of generalist HR experience in an advisory capacity and Level 7 CIPD qualifications.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work well on initiative and well as part of a team, within a confidential and sensitive environment.

Salary: £24.50 per hour worked
