Red Recruitment is recruiting a Sales Manager to join our client, one of the UK's leading Travel Insurance Specialists with an exceptional 4.8 STAR Trustpilot rating. Our client provides insurance services to customers, including those with pre-existing medical conditions.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Sales Team Manager to drive operational excellence and lead a team of Sales Agents to deliver an optimum level of service to our customers.

You will possess a proven track record of engaging with, motivating, and proactively managing a sales team and ideally have experience working in an FCA-regulated environment.

Benefits and Package for a Sales Manager:

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum with a realistic OTE of £7,000 per year in commission
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 8pm
1 early a week 8.30am - 5pm
1 late a week, 11.30am - 8pm
1 in 4 weekends, Saturday OR Sunday, (Saturday, 9am - 5.30pm and Sunday, 10am - 5pm)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Start date: ASAP

Based in Southend-on-Sea with easy access to local amenities and transport links.Key Responsibilities of a Sales Manager:

Coaching and developing staff using performance management tools to successfully meet and improve KPIs
Remaining up to date with procedures/processes, products, new schemes, and/or scheme changes
Assisting with the recruitment process, acquiring the most suitable calibre candidate for the role
Producing Management Information in relation to agent activity, which will help identify any coaching and development needs
Effectively communicating technical, client, customer, service, and systems or staff-related issues
Handling complaints in line with the complaint handling process
Monitoring, recording, and effectively managing absence and time-keeping issues in line with Company proceduresKey Skills and Experience of a Sales Manager:

You should have 5+ years as a Sales Team Manager within a contact centre environment
You will have experience managing a team of 10 or more
You should possess a proven track record of engaging with and managing a sales team
Ideally, you will have experience working in an FCA-regulated environment
