Year 2 Class Teacher (M4 Scale)
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (1 year – maternity cover)

We are seeking a talented and committed M4 scale teacher to join our friendly and thriving primary school in Clitheroe from September 2025, to teach a well-established Year 2 class.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Be currently working at or ready to step into an M4 pay scale role.

Have a sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum, with particular knowledge of Year 2 expectations, including end-of-key-stage assessment.

Demonstrate a nurturing, inclusive approach with high expectations for every child.

Be a team player who contributes positively to whole school life.

Show energy, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
