Description

Are you interested in carving a career in NDT?

Our sister company, Morgan Ward NDT Ltd, has fast become one of the world’s most renowned providers of Non-Destructive Testing services to the aerospace and general engineering sectors. Enjoying the success of exponential growth, and with an ambitious and realistic expansion plan already in action, Morgan Ward NDT Ltd is in an unrivalled position to recruit for multiple trainee NDT positions across its bases, which includes its experienced team in Stansted, to join the company's established NDT training programme.

You’ll undertake training in multiple methods within the field of NDT, with a hands-on approach throughout your OJT (on the job training) and active involvement in learning inspection techniques within an MRO environment.

You need to have the following experience and skills:

* Possess at least one year’s experience of working in a Part 145 organisation in any capacity

* An analytical and methodical style of thinking, with exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of team

* Able to follow instructions and work closely with the company’s Level 2’s and Site Managers

* Ideally have previous NDT experience within an aerospace capacity and be qualified in 1 method / have logged training hours towards 1 method

As well as covering work at the company’s Stansted base, this position also brings exciting opportunities to travel the world, so it’s essential that applicants are willing to work away from home and also work unsociable hours - including nights and weekends - to meet customer needs. Due to EASA requirements, applicants must be age 19 and above, and due to the need to travel to other company bases and customers, all applicants must have a full driver's licence to be considered for this role.

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing business that is committed to its people and customers, and a company that provides exceptional training to ensure that its staff reach their best potential. The position attracts circa £32kOTE, which includes a basic hourly rate (based on 40 hours p/week), overtime, and a discretionary annual bonus (with a Christmas bonus on top), and you can expect incremental pay increases throughout your training, too. As a business, Morgan Ward also provide enhanced benefits, which include an enhanced pension contribution, and private medical and dental plan, too. Above all, you'll be joining the NDT elite within aviation NDT and will be working with the best and most experienced technicians in on-wing NDT!

To forge your career in NDT and join one of the most renowned businesses in the field, please send your CV to Leanne Evans, Operations Manager
