Description

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer with experience of machine maintenance looking for an opportunity to excel? ASL Technical are working with a leading manufacturer of plastic systems used in the hygiene industry and due to excellent company performance, our customer is looking to expand their manufacturing team with an experienced Maintenance Engineer.

Main Purpose of the Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer:

Provide rapid technical assistance in the resolution of equipment and plant malfunctions, completing fault-finding (mechanical, electrical) and repair as necessary.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes.

Develop and implement planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant and other equipment to minimise efficiency losses to production.

Manage stocks of supplies and equipment so that repairs can be achieved without delay.

Key Accountabilities:

Work closely with the production team to implement changes that enhance overall productivity.

Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

Ensure that equipment modifications adhere to quality and safety standards.

Implement changes to spec sheets promptly and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Person Specification

ASL Technical are keen to talk to individuals who have experience of working with within professional manufacturing facilities in the maintenance of a variety of equipment. Knowledge of injection moulding machines would be advantageous, but not essential. You will be a self-motivated individual, with the ability to work closely with a variety of colleagues across a variety of functions including manufacturing and support.
