Site Manager - Tier 1 Contractor (Schools Project - Hucknall)

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new challenge with one of the UK's largest and most reputable Tier 1 contractors? Do you have a proven track record of delivering high-quality public sector construction projects, particularly within the education sector?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager to join our client's team on a new school project in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Our client is a leading national contractor with a significant presence in the public sector, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation, and employee development.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the school construction project in Hucknall. This will involve:

Overseeing all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Managing and motivating site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintaining strict health and safety standards and procedures.
Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing effective solutions.
Ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications and regulations.
Liaising effectively with the client, design team, and other stakeholders.
Producing regular progress reports and maintaining accurate site records.About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor.
Demonstrable experience delivering education or other public sector construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and health and safety legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, and resources effectively.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certifications are essential.
A proactive, problem-solving approach and a keen eye for detail.The Package:

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Car Allowance: £6,500
Annual Leave: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
Pension: Company Pension Scheme
