Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Coordinator
Location: Maldon
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: - 9am to 5.15pm

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimise transportation and distribution globally. The successful candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards. This role is essential to supporting the supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.

* Schedule transportation, track shipments, and resolve shipping delays or issues.

* Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure seamless logistics operations.

* Prepare and process shipping documents.

* Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.

* Maintain accurate shipping records.

* Negotiate freight rates and manage shipping budgets.

* General admin duties.

Qualifications / Requirements:

* Logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination experience

* Strong knowledge of domestic and international transportation, freight, and customs procedures.

* Proficiency with logistics software and MS Office Suite.

* Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
