Job Overview:
Berry Recruitment Darlington are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join a team for a long-term booking at a location in Masham. This is an ongoing role that requires both lunch and dinner services, with a flexible schedule. The position is available immediately, and we are looking for someone who can commit to the outlined working hours.

Working Hours- Example of shifts below-

Wednesday: Lunch only (10am - 2.30pm)
Thursday: Full day (10am - 8.30pm)
Friday: Full day (10am - 8.30pm)
Saturday: Full day (10am - 8.30pm)
Sunday: Lunch only (10am - 2.30pm)Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage kitchen operations during lunch and dinner service.
Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
Manage kitchen staff, ensuring they perform their duties effectively.
Plan, prepare, and deliver menus that meet quality standards.
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen functionality.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.Pay Rate:
£19.00 per hour, paid weekly every Friday for the hours worked the previous week.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent service.
Flexibility to work across the outlined schedule.
Ability to start immediately is preferred.Benefits:
