Welder - Heavy Fabrication | £13-14/hour | Oakham, UK

Our client is at the forefront of UK agricultural equipment manufacturing. Known for producing high-quality machines used across the globe, they pride themselves on excellence, precision, and continuous growth. They're expanding - and looking for a skilled Welder to join the Fabrication and Welding team.

🔧 What You'll Do:

As a Welder, you'll work on a variety of heavy-duty fabrications including vehicle axles, chassis, and crop sprayer booms. You'll be involved in:

MIG welding mild steel (6mm-50mm thick)

Preparing and finishing fabrications for shot blast and paint

Grinding, sanding, and de-splattering components

Interpreting and working from engineering drawings

Helping us meet quality and production targets

✅ What We're Looking For:

Experience with MIG welding and working with heavy mild steel

Ability to read engineering drawings accurately

A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality

Fabrication experience (desirable, not essential)

Forklift and overhead crane certification (training can be provided)

🕒 Working Hours & Pay:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: £13-14 per hour, depending on experience
