Family Hub Manager – Children and Young People’s Disabilities Service
Permanent | 35 hours/week | £55,620 – £59,739
Barking and Dagenham
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Hub Manager (qualified Social Worker) to lead our Children and Young People’s Disabilities Service in Barking and Dagenham. This permanent, full-time role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to children and young people with disabilities and their families in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the role:
As a Family Hub Manager, you will:

Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team within the Children and Young People’s Disabilities Service.
Coordinate high-quality, family-centred services that promote well-being, independence, and positive outcomes.
Work collaboratively with partners across health, education, and social care to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Drive forward innovative practices and contribute to strategic planning to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Champion safeguarding and ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and best practice.About you:

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Proven experience in managing and supervising teams within children’s services, ideally in disability-focused or family support settings.
Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and best practices in supporting children and young people with disabilities.
Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for driving service improvements.Why join Barking and Dagenham?
