The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading Solar Developer.
Job Overview:

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business development plan to grow the company's portfolio of commercial renewable energy projects

Some of your duties will include:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the companies long-term goals
Identify, approach, and engage new commercial and industrial clients
Manage your own end-to-end pipeline of opportunities, from initial enquiry and qualification through to proposals, pitches, and contract signing
Lead detailed commercial negotiations including the structuring of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), leasing arrangements, project pricing models, and other contract terms
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, project management, and construction) to ensure a smooth transition from sales to deliveryWhat do you need to succeed?

A minimum of 5 years of proven success in a sales or business development role, preferably within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
Strong experience in managing complex sales cycles and long-lead business development engagements, ideally with commercial, legal, and financial decision-makers.
Expert knowledge of solar PV and battery energy storage systems, including both technical fundamentals and commercial deployment models.
Familiarity with distributed generation, energy-as-a-service models, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)How to apply:
