We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to join a long-established, innovative manufacturer of high-performance equipment, based in Bridlington.
This is a permanent position offering excellent job security, an immediate start, a friendly and inclusive team environment – and a company that genuinely values and supports its people.
What you’ll be doing:
Building mechanical assemblies and modules from engineering drawings and diagrams
Stripping down and reassembling machinery to a high standard
Assembling sub-systems to tight tolerances with a focus on quality and accuracy
Working from technical drawings and SOP's to ensure work is completed to spec
Supporting production targets within a busy manufacturing environment
Using hand tools, power tools and manual equipment safely and efficiently
Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work areaWhat we’re looking for:
A solid background in mechanical fitting or mechanical assembly within engineering or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a methodical, practical approach
A positive, proactive attitude and good communication skills
A BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experienceWhy join?

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Early finish at 1pm every Friday
33 days holiday (including bank holidays and Christmas Shutdown
