Job Role

As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators, managing workflows, schedules, and resources to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee all production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting project deadlines.

Team Leadership

Resource Allocation

Quality Control: Ensure all products and components meet company quality standards and customer specifications through rigorous inspection and testing procedures.

Health and Safety

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the production workflow.

Budget Management: Oversee production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

Collaboration

Problem Solving

Reporting: Maintain clear, accurate records of production data, KPIs, and progress reports, regularly reporting to senior management.

Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering, fabrication processes, and manufacturing technologies.

Must have experience in sheet metal
