Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Alcester (B49)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary schools in Alcester (B49), and we are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. They are a lovely small village primary school with only 15 pupils in each year group. A level 3 qualification is required as you willl be expected to lead cover for the teachers PPA time. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom duties and lesson delivery
Delivering PPA classes when the main class teacher is out. The work you must deliver will be preset, however you msut deliver the lesson to the class. 
Working with small groups of pupils seperately, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Building professional, nurturing relationships with pupils, staff, and families
We're looking for someone who:

a Level 3 supporting teaching and learning qualification
Has experience working with children (in education, care, mentoring, or similar)
Understands the needs of primary-aged pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs
Is patient, caring, and adaptable with a warm and approachable attitude
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
Is confident leading when required to

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
