Core Subjects Tutor – Nottinghamshire
Teaching Personnel | £25–£30 per hour

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Core Subjects Tutors to provide high-quality tuition in English, Maths, and Science to students across Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting learners at various stages of their academic journey.

Position Details:

Location: Nottinghamshire (various locations available, with remote options)

Subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science

Rate of Pay: £25–£30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Contract Type: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available

Start Date: Immediate or negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored sessions that meet the individual needs of each student

Support academic progress by building subject knowledge, confidence, and study skills

Adapt teaching approaches to suit diverse learning styles and abilities

Provide regular, constructive feedback on student progress

Requirements:

Experience teaching or tutoring English, Maths, or Science

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred

Strong planning, communication, and organisational skills

An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
