hgv class 1 driver wanted - £16.00 per hour - ongoing work

Light workload: 2-3 drops on Class 1 vehicles.

Your role as an hgv class 1 driver

Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver.
Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 12 months.
Good attention to detail.
A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations.
Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January.
Happy for long hours.
Flexibility to drive Class 2 vehicles as well is preferred.

Pay & benefits

£16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement.
Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.
Free parking at the depot.
10 - 12 hour shifts typically.
3-5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work.
Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
