The Opportunity
An outstanding grammar school in Oxfordshire is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education Teacher to join its high-performing Humanities Faculty from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach RE from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level, helping students engage with theology, ethics, and philosophy through thoughtful and academically rigorous lessons.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with exceptionally able and engaged students who relish challenge and discussion. The Department
The RE Department is highly regarded, with consistently strong results at GCSE and A-Level. Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:

A strong academic background with a good Honours degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related discipline
*
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
*
Experience teaching Religious Education at KS3–KS5, ideally including A-Level Philosophy or Ethics
*
Excellent subject knowledge, a love for teaching, and a commitment to fostering high achievement
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
