Days, Mon–Fri (7am–3:30pm Mon-Thu, 7am–2pm Fri)

We are looking for a maintenance engineer to join our dedicated engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest textile service providers. Based at our Hadleigh plant, you'll work as part of an experienced in-house engineering team, helping maintain vital machinery, facilities, and supporting production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and building issues
Perform equipment start-up and shutdown
Support installation and commissioning of machinery and upgrades
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 / 14001 and internal quality standards
Assist with general building maintenance and respond to ad hoc tasks
Provide occasional out-of-hours callout cover (approx. 3 times/year, with bonus pay) 

Experience and Qualification:

Multi-skilled with an electrical bias
NVQ3 or 18th Edition minimum
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
