Job title: Metal Fabricator / Sheet metal worker

Location: Stanford – le – hope

Job type: Temp-Perm

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7.00am-4.00pm and Friday 7.00am-1.00pm

Rate: £16-£18ph dependant on experience – overtime available

AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served sheet metal and metal fabrication worker to join their team.

Specialising in bespoke metal work services in the Essex area.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the sheet metal worker role:

· Sheet metal and metal fabrication experience

· Experience working with various metals

· Ability to work in a job shop and repair work

· Able to use all workshop equipment such as guillotines, CNC press brakes and Amada press

· Able to read and understand detailed drawings and sketches

· Able to work with minimal supervision

· Able to problem solve and work under pressure

· Trade test on the press brake and guillotine required for interview

Qualifications and Skills are required for the sheet metal worker role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable

5 years experience with sheet metal
