Engineering Administrator / BOM Engineer – Technology Manufacturing
We are seeking a Engineering Administrator / BOM Engineer to join a leading technology manufacturing business in Surrey.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing processes, and BOM management.
* Create, review, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure BOM accuracy and efficiency.
* Manage multi-level BOM structures, part numbers, and revisions within ERP/MRP systems.
* Implement engineering change orders (ECOs/ECNs) and update documentation accordingly.
* Support cost analysis, material sourcing, and inventory planning.
Key Requirements:
* Engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience).
* Experience working with ERP/MRP and PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Windchill).
* Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage structured data.
