Apex Resources are looking for experienced Machine Operators for our client in Cumbernauld with an experience in steel work.
Job Description:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards. This role is key to keeping the production line running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
*
Set up machines according to specifications and perform minor adjustments
*
Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications
*
Maintain a clean and organized work area
*
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to maintenance
*
Complete production documentation and logs
*
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
*
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment preferred (steel work)
*
Strong attention to detail and quality
*
Basic math and computer skills
*
Team player with good communication skills
