Company profile:
A leading provider of Print and Packaging solutions, supplying some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking to hire an Account Manager to complement their successful team.
Title: Account Manager
Salary: £28,000-£32,000
Role and Responsibilities:
* ·Working in collaboration with the external sales team to manage an existing portfolio of clients, including identifying growth opportunities and supporting new business enquiries.
* ·To work closely with the relevant external salesperson to maintain and develop designated accounts providing a high standard of customer service while helping to secure new opportunities and business for the company.
* ·To coordinate project management from initial enquiry stage to order placement co-operating with the relevant suppliers and internal departments for sourcing / product development / sampling / order processing / planning and scheduling production following company procedure and ensuring that critical paths for all projects are followed through and that QC have signed sealed samples for all products.
* ·Accurate processing of all customer requirements.
* ·Liaising with the relevant departments to deliver products and services as agreed with the customer and to resolve any associated customer queries satisfactorily.
* ·Developing relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels.
* ·Escalating any issues using relevant departmental procedures.
* ·Preparing enquiries to request quotations and selecting suppliers (in conjunction with external salesperson and commercial manager). Seeking quotes from suppliers, resolving any queries, negotiating costs, collating prices onto costing sheets and completing basic commercial analysis. Obtaining costing approvals from management and finance teams as appropriate.
* ·Sending quotes/order confirmations to customers ensuring that diary dates for follow up calls are actioned and that critical paths for all projects are followed through.
* ·Ensuring that all relevant information relating to enquiries, quotations and orders are stored in the correct manner, ensuring that systems are updated, checked, analysed and information shared as appropriate, and that regular housekeeping is done.
* ·Liaise with stock control and external sales team to review usage reports, present findings to customers and agree forecasting and recommendations for future orders as needed. Prepare and share any other management reporting as required along with appropriate analysis.
* ·Implement actions within agreed slow stock and storage charge management. Liaising with customer to ensure information is shared in an accurate and timely manner.
* ·Address any credit control or accounts payable issues in a timely manner.
* ·To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the function and centre as a whole.
* ·To comply with annually agreed KPI’s and business objectives.
Skills and experience:
* Experience & Additions skills required
* Minimum of 2-year account management or purchasing experience. (preferably within a packaging, printing or production environment)
* Excel knowledge (preferably to an intermediate level)

Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role. Use of initiative to ensure tasks are completed. Supportive of manager and wider team goals and objectives.
Technical Skills
Computer Literate, numerate, attention to detail, logical and methodical approach to work.
