Maintenance Electrician

£38,000 - £42,000
 
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading global building services provider on a flagship contract at Heathrow Airport. Working across a wide and varied estate that includes aircraft maintenance hangars, pilot and cabin crew training centres, and general office buildings, you'll play a key role in keeping the critical infrastructure running smoothly.
 
The Role:

As part of an established facilities team, you will be responsible for a range of planned and reactive electrical maintenance duties, including:

Fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of systems
General power and lighting maintenance
Emergency lighting tests and inspections
Minor electrical installations and upgrades
Ensuring compliance with statutory testing requirements (e.g. EICRs, PAT testing, distribution board checks)
Supporting with fire alarm and life safety systems maintenance
Basic fabric and building services tasks when required (e.g. checking doors, lights, sockets)
Accurately completing job sheets and compliance records via handheld device
Liaising with on-site stakeholders to report issues and maintain excellent service standards What We’re Looking For:

Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition essential
Some facilities maintenance experience desirable, but we’re open to recently qualified engineers looking to take the next step
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn, full training and support provided Package:

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Hours: 6:30am – 6:30pm (4 on, 4 off – days only)
Holiday: 20 shift days per year
Training: Ongoing technical and compliance training provided
