Test Technician (Engineer)
Location: Sunbury, UK
Salary: £30-33k

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Test Technician to join a growing team in Sunbury. This position offers the chance to work within an exciting manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities of the Test Technician
As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of electromechanical components by:

Conducting visual inspections of electronic devices.

Performing functional testing at the component level.

Production testing on electro mechanical assembly products

Carrying out manual tests using power analysers, Megger, bonding meters and general multimeters

To carry out all general assembly on the products

Perform tests of highly complex assemblies

Co-ordinate with assembly and despatch to ensure systems are delivered on time   

Supporting continuous improvement projects   

Desirable Knowledge & Skills of the Test Technician 

Minimum BTEC or HND/HNC in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline - Diagnose faults to a component level   

- Test and fault finding experience on electro/mechanical products

- Environmental and vibration test experience (desirable)

- Able to read and understand circuit diagrams and engineering diagrams

Competitive salary: £30-35k

Pension scheme: 5% employee contribution, 3% employer contribution.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with length of service.
