Electronics Engineer

Ripon, £28-35k

Excellent opportunity for a candidate with confident electronic fault finding and repair skills to work for a growing manufacturer. We are happy to consider experienced candidates or graduates for this role who wants to work in a hands on position. You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying faults on a range of electrical and electronic equipment, recommending solutions.

The role:

Diagnosing and analysing failures down to component level
Operation of various testing equipment
Running automated test procedures
Completion of test reports and tracing root cause of a failure
Working to and developing defined test procedures
Supporting R & D with feedback on faults and recommending fixes where possible
Undertaking rework and repair

You will:

Hold a relevant Electronics qualification
Have extensive experience in electronics assembly, testing and diagnostics and repair
Be able to work with R & D to recommend improvements
Confident knowledge of control systems
Able to read and understand electronic drawings and schematics
