Full Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Immedidate Start Available!

Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension into September 2025 and permanent opportunities

Career Teachers are recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a junior school in Ilkeston. This welcoming and supportive school is dedicated to providing the best possible education and care for all pupils, fostering a friendly and encouraging environment for both students and staff.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs. You will work closely with the student to ensure they receive tailored assistance, enabling them to thrive academically and socially.
