In partnership with Revised Recruitment Group

Secure your next full-time role before the summer break.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an outstanding, over-subscribed secondary school in Barry, recently praised in a glowing Estyn report. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that truly values respect, resilience, and responsibility—and where students are encouraged to work hard and aspire to reach their full potential.

The staff are passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, and they’re now looking to expand their Additional Learning Needs (ALN) team ahead of the new academic year.

The Role – Starting September
We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to take on a full-time ALN Learning Support role, starting in September. This position offers excellent developmental opportunities for those looking to build a meaningful career in education.

You will:

*

Support pupils—particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)—through tailored learning activities.

*

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging sessions for individuals and small groups.

*

Monitor and assess pupil progress, reporting achievements and areas for development.

*

Be a consistent, positive role model and provide a nurturing, structured environment for learners.

What We’re Looking For

*

A genuine passion for supporting young people in their education.

*

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

*

An interest in or experience with ASD is highly desirable.

*

Previous school experience is welcome, but not essential—full training will be provided.

Why Apply Now?

✔ Secure a full-time role for September before the summer holidays
✔ Join a supportive, forward-thinking school with a strong leadership team
✔ Gain valuable experience in a specialist area of education with room to grow
