Salary up to £39,400, dependant on experience
Monday 3pm – 1am, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3pm – 00:30am

Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and are looking for a confident and passionate Quality Inspector to carry out first off Inspections

Job Description

Running CMM programmes, analysing and recording results and making appropriate quality decisions.
Support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
Read and understand the requirements on the Job Card for the operation to be carried out.
Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant inspection plans to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.
Ensure that work areas are tidy, cleaned and maintained in accordance with 5S requirements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience inspecting parts to tight tolerances with dimensional measurement tools (verniers, micrometres, gauges etc)
Well-versed using shadowgraphs, optical projectors/measurement machines, computerised inspection systems, 3D Scanners
Experience of filling out FAIRS check lists
Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
