Are you ready to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment? A leading business in the facilities management industry is hiring a Test and Inspection Engineer in Greater London. This role is essential for ensuring safety and compliance in critical healthcare and research facilities.
The Role
As the Test and Inspection Engineer, you’ll:
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on building services systems.
* Complete electrical testing and inspections, including EICRs.
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Use CAFM and PDA systems to log work in real time, including detailed job notes.
* Support electrical shutdowns and act as an Authorised Person (AP) when required.
* Supervise contractors on-site and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
* Participate in the on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work.
You
To be successful in the role of Test and Inspection Engineer, you’ll bring:
* Some relevant experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or critical environments.
* Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
* A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
* Basic skills in CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
* An organised and proactive approach to your work.
