Job Title: Paint Sprayer

Location: Tameside

Salary: £13.00 per hour (first 3 months), £13.50 per hour thereafter

Job Type: Full-time (early shift)

We are working with high-quality, niche manufacturing company specialising in MDF and timber products. The business is dedicated to maintaining tight lead times and delivering perfection in every project and are now looking for a paint sprayer with experience of working with wood to join them in their period of growth

This role involves prepping and spraying wood and MDF kitchen components

Day-to-day of the role:

Work in a fast-paced manual environment, ensuring high-quality output.
Conduct accurate quality checks on parts before and after painting.
Prepare parts for spraying, including thorough cleaning and sanding.
Apply PU paint to kitchen components, ensuring even coverage and finish.
Mix paints according to specifications to achieve desired colours and consistencies.
Perform quality control checks during and after the spraying process to ensure the finish meets the required standards.
Maintain a clean and orderly spray booth area, including changing filters and general upkeep.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workplace, adhering to health and safety regulations.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in wood finishing and operating in a spray shop environment.
Familiarity with PU paint and its application.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changes in product lines.
Educated to at least GCSE standard.Benefits:
