A well-respected primary school in Bromley is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their dedicated team in September 2025. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that not only enhance students’ academic performance but also foster their overall development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated lessons in Year 4, ensuring that the National Curriculum is delivered effectively and in a way that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

*

Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents, and adjusting teaching methods accordingly to support all learners.

*

Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to achieve their best.

*

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning are maintained across the school, contributing to school-wide initiatives and professional development.

*

Develop strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and engaging them in their child’s learning journey.

*

Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and supporting school improvement projects.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A thorough understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging, creative lessons that motivate and inspire students.

*

Proven experience in assessing pupil progress, using data to inform planning and ensuring that all students make progress.

*

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of behavior and academic achievement.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
