Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Project/Contract Manager, within the Engineering sector, to join and strengthen our client's existing team in the North East of England.

With a strong and varied customer base in a variety of industries, our client is a major independent door company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, and more.

Salary: £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Working as a Project/Contract Manager you will be in charge of planning, monitoring and supervising the repairs team within a fast-moving environment. With your duties including, but not limited to:

Liaising with customers to ensure projects are competed to their satisfaction
Providing estimates and quotes based on client drawings and meetings
Producing production drawings and running the fabrication section
Managing project team
Accounting for project cost, time and budget
Mitigating Projects risks
Conducting site inspectionsTo be successful within this role as a Project/Contract Manager you will have previous experience in a project management role, combined with the following skills and traits:

Customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
