Description

Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end commercial fit-out sector in the UK is currently looking for a Fit-out Estimator to join their team.

The role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for prestigious fit-out projects within commercial buildings, education, healthcare, and workplace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed quotations and tender returns based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements
Liaise with internal departments (design, production, and contracts) to ensure clarity and accuracy in costings
Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Identify value engineering opportunities and provide commercial input during design stages
Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required, occasionally visiting project sites
Assist with project handovers to the delivery teamIdeal Candidate:

Previous estimating experience within interior fit-out, washrooms, joinery, or specialist subcontracting
Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Commercially astute with excellent numeracy and attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders
Experience using estimating software or Excel to compile BOQs and take-offsBenefits:
