We currently have positions at The Elveden Inn and The Guinness Arms on the Norfolk / Suffolk border.

Duty Managers
Salary: £29,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
Location: Icklingham IP28 & Elveden IP24

We are committed to excellence in the service that we deliver, and the most vital route to excellence is the outstanding staff that we recruit, develop and retain. We genuinely want people to enjoy working in our pubs, feel part of one team, and have the very best management leading by example. These roles will deliver excellence, but will also inspire others, and develop the teams to continually improve service. The key purpose is to ensure that customer service is exceptional, and that customers leave the pub happier than when they first entered. We will be appointing people that understand the needs of the customer, genuinely care about the customer experience, can manage food service superbly and get a sense of satisfaction from doing it brilliantly!

The roles will work closely with other managers, supervisors and team members. They may work in either of the pubs. We are not a chain. We are unique, and that gives us opportunities to put our own spin on events, try different things and continually develop the offerings we can give to guests.

We are very pleased to be able to offer continuing development. We have a suite of courses ready for you to do via our on-line platform. In addition to online courses, we particularly focus on ILM level 3 Management Training. We are keen to offer Level 4 apprenticeships in Hospitality to ensure you have the opportunity for continuous professional development.

The roles are offered with a salary range of £29,000 to £30,000 depending on experience. We have always shared tips with staff, and these roles will continue to benefit from this. We add a discretionary service charge of 10% to bills. We offer plenty of free parking, an Employee Wellbeing Programme, Occupational Health and the opportunity to work in beautiful surroundings.
