Lecturer – Sport Studies
📍 Location: Northampton
🕒 Full-time, Permanent
💷 Salary: £27,238 – £33,487 per annum

Are you passionate about sport, fitness, and education? We’re looking for a motivated Lecturer in Sport Studies to deliver high-quality teaching, support student achievement, and contribute to course development within a dynamic and supportive environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to learners across a range of Sport Studies topics
Assess student work to ensure progression and achievement against national standards
Develop and improve course materials in line with industry and academic requirements
Provide pastoral support, guidance, and disciplinary oversight to students as needed
Represent the institution at recruitment events such as careers fairs and showcases
Participate in internal verification, audits, and quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of delivery and learner experience✅ What We’re Looking For:
A BSc (or equivalent) in a Sport Science or Fitness-Related subject (applicants with strong industry experience also encouraged)
A Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one
A passion for inspiring learners and delivering excellence in sports education
Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development
