Multi-skilled Gas Engineer | London | Full Time | to £65,000+ including overtime

Our client is a long-established property maintenance company working with prime letting agents as well as domestic customers. They pride themselves in delivering excellent customer service and were awarded ‘Best Property Maintenance Company’ in Greater London in 2018 and ‘Best Property Maintenance Company & Award for Excellence in Emergency Repairs’ in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and are a friendly, highly supportive employer.

They are seeking a full-time, experienced multi-skilled Gas Engineer covering London.

This is a full time PAYE position, CIS is also possible, if preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified gas engineer with experience in service, breakdown, testing, and installation of gas boilers and central heating systems, general plumbing, as well as attending to emergency property maintenance callouts as required on rota.

Are you the right person for the job?

Extensive experience in boiler fault diagnoses and repair
Experience in Y & S plan wiring and fault finding
Experience in boiler replacements and installations
UFH installation and maintenance
Good understanding of boiler controls
Unvented cylinder qualifications
Commercial and HIU experience is a bonus
Electrical fault-finding skills are a bonus
Experience in Plumbing and Central Heating repairs
Experience in general property maintenance and repairs
A flexible, friendly, helpful and success-driven attitude
Good team player
Previously been Gas Safe registered
A full, clean driving licence
What will your role look like?

Fault-finding and rapid repair of boilers and central heating systems
Servicing and preventative maintenance
Carrying out gas safety checks and occasional boiler installations when needed
Plumbing and general maintenance works
Emergency callout cover on rota, especially over Christmas (extended rates apply)
Providing exceptional customer service
Completing required paperwork to a high standard
Working to H&S guidelines
Maintaining a professional presentation and keeping the company van clean and well-maintained
