DESCRIPTION:



* Support customer needs by answering technical questions related to parts, intended use and component design.

* Quote and sell spare and replacement parts using ERP and CRM software to manage your quotes, follow up, and research past communications to control quality.

* Maintain regular contact with customers to become their go to person for parts and technical questions. This will result in parts sales opportunities.

* Support and assist SSI global representatives in ordering parts and service

* Maintain customer records by updating account and machine performance information. Enter customer orders into computerized database.

* Resolve product problems through root cause analysis and explain the results to customers in an empathic and data-oriented manner.

* Follow procedures to process customer returns, providing other departments with clear instructions

* Work closely with equipment sales teams on product application questions. Parts sales helps to create new machinery sales and new machinery sales creates parts sales in turn.

* Work with sales and engineering personnel to identify and implement product optimizations and improvements to meet customer specific requirements.



ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:



* Very proficient in Microsoft Office products. Outlook, Word, Excel

* Minimum 2 years of service and / or sales experience

* Excellent communication skills

* Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machines

* Ability to independently solve problems in a thorough and detail-oriented manner

* Ability to work as a part of a team

* Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Market Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information, Multi-tasking

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
