SEND Teaching Assistant – Nurturing Support Across the Primary Stages

Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Salary: £90 – £105 per day
School Type: Primary
Location: Northfield
Contract Type: Temporary

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Northfield. Whether your background is in EYFS, KS1, or KS2, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEND

*

Assist in delivering tailored interventions and learning activities

*

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies

*

Promote the emotional and social development of pupils

Required Experience:

*

Proven experience supporting children with SEND

*

Previous work experience within EYFS, KS1, or KS2 settings

*

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships

*

Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
