ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (FIELD BASED)
ILKESTON
£40,000 PER ANNUM
DAY SHIFTS
PERMANENT POSITION
IMMEDIATE START

We have a fantastic opportunity for an electrical engineer to join a well-established business in Ilkeston.

The role is perfect for someone who is happy hitting the road around the Midlands to complete work on electrical systems, supporting their servicing team.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Carrying out work on industrial and commercial electrical systems within the business and on sites
• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment
• Fitting and testing electrical components
• Travelling to sites across the Midlands
• Being placed on a call out rota for 1 week in 7.

We would like to hear from you if you:

• Hold your 18th Edition
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Have a strong electrical background
• Previous experience with fault finding and repairs
• Will be happy to work away from home within the UK for short periods (Between 15 – 30 days a year)

Desirable skills:
• PLC Programming experience
• Knowledge of industrial systems
• Previous experience in a field based role
