We are pleased to welcome applications for the post of Registered Manager in Bedford.
The Manager will develop and grow a new Live in Care business in Bedford. As a confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will assist with the setting up and development of this new business.
The ideal candidate will have the networking and marketing knowhow and skills of how to grow the Private and Direct Payments streams of income.
Prior experience of developing and growing a homecare business is essential.
Duties:
* Develop marketing plans, detailing weekly, monthly and yearly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals, relationships and awareness
* Research, schedule and successfully execute regular community marketing events including fairs, exhibitions and any other events that would promote our services to the public
* Flexibility required to meet the business needs, evening & weekend events and the general requirements of a homecare business
* Managing the day-to-day running of the business and acting as the person-in-charge reporting to the Director
* Identifying opportunities for growth and development and working with the Director to achieve targets and deliver within budget
* Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with CQC and statutory requirements and company policy and procedures
* Promote, drive and grow new care packages
* Develop and manage relationships with clients and their families
* Seek opportunities to strengthen professional relationships, and identify business development opportunities and networks
* Research, identify, contact, approach and develop relationships with decision makers, commissioners and health & social care professionals
Skills and Experience:
* Experience of developing and managing a start-up home care business
* Ideally 3 - 5 years of recent relevant experience in a care management position
* Good business acumen and a drive for growth
* Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Experience in business development to meet identified KPI's
* Have excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations
